Hi, I’m Sweety Karwa, founder and lead planner at EventCracker. With a background in hospitality and years of experience planning events across Oregon and beyond, I bring a thoughtful, down-to-earth approach to wedding planning.
My journey into the world of event planning began when I was just 18 years old, working as an Audio-Visual Coordinator for a Singaporean company in Thailand. That early hands-on experience with technical logistics gave me a strong foundation—but it was when I joined the team at I DO ETC that my passion truly took off. I quickly rose to become Lead Wedding Planner, and together with a talented team, I had the incredible opportunity to plan and execute weddings across the globe—from the serene beaches of Bali to the vibrant beauty of Turkey and everywhere in between. It was a whirlwind, and I wouldn’t trade a moment of it.
In 2018, after getting married and moving to the Pacific Northwest, I decided it was time to bring my global experience and heartfelt passion for events to my new community—and so, EventCracker was born.
Through EventCracker, I strive to create personalized, memorable celebrations by getting to know my clients on a deeper level and bringing their unique vision to life. I believe that it’s all in the details, and I’m here to make the journey joyful, stress-free, and fun.
From pre-party planning and wedding rehearsals to multicultural ceremonies, receptions, and destination weddings, I offer services tailored to your specific needs. Whether you’re seeking full-service planning, partial planning, or day-of coordination, my team and I are here to ensure a seamless and beautiful event. I also assist with invitations, RSVP tracking, timeline creation, budget planning, and trusted vendor referrals.
I’m proud to be a preferred wedding planner at many of the Pacific Northwest’s most scenic venues, including Cape Horn Estates, Scholls Valley Lodge, and Casa Bella—and I can’t wait to help you plan something magical, too.
